Kaohsiung is becoming more and more the place to be to see live music performances from both foreign and local performers. New venues are opening and some the older ones are getting in on the action as the demand for good live music grows in this city. In October, Kaohsiung saw the launch of the documentary Voices From The South: Kaohsiung's Independent Music Scene. The film gives us a look at the local music scene and features five of the best independent bands from Kaohsiung. Be sure to check out the trailer here or on the movie's blog site.
